I took this photo in Bayview Idaho. My parents live in Athol Idaho and this is really just a short drive. The town itself is what might be described as quaint by a travel magazine. This entire house is built on the dock in the marina!Time
I really think this was a late morning shot, look at the glassy water.Lighting
This is one of those overcast days when every shot you take is going to at least make you happy. Stand anywhere and no reason figure out how to play the shadows.Equipment
I used an old Nikon D200, I don’t have anything better and can land a great used one under 200 bucks all day long. I have dropped a couple of them in my day destroying the lense and camera and only had to pick up my backup D200. A good all around basic is an affordable Nikon 18-55 lense. Think I had ISO at 200.Inspiration
This is just one of those obvious shots, you see it and it’s not even a thought.Editing
I think I just sharpened it up a bit, Don’t think I had to change much.In my camera bag
I always carry a Tamron 17-35 and a Tamron 28-200, a Nikon 50 and a Nikon 18-55, all my go to lenses.Feedback
Well, when it stands out your going to shoot it we all do. Whether you are using the best equipment or your phone. It is a good time all around.
