After 3 years of testing underwater photography, I have finally succeeded in taking a decent picture half under water and half outside. I wanted the separation line between water and sky to be as sharp as possible : this means that I needed lots of light to be able to use a small aperture : f11 in that case to get a large sharpness area. Also, I needed some distance between my lense and the glass of my underwater case. The use of a dome was essential. And, not the less, I needed crystal clear water and sunlight: Pigeon Cay near Barbareta island in Honduras was the perfect place with its shallow sea and white sand.
