There were four in the nest and the little one said- Lapwing nest amongst the stones on the beach. The eggs blend in so well one has tonwatch where you tread.

The mild winter months are great for cleaning and repairing all the seaside activities ready for the new season.

Early morning walk while the rest of the world still sleeps.

Sometimes there is nowhere to stop and photograph the scene. This was snapped from the car on route south from Rochdale in 2013. Although snaps taken like this lack sharpness they can still provide inspiration and capture that fleating moment.
