Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken as Christmas approached in London's Kings Cross tube station

Time

It was in the middle of the afternoon so I was fortunate to get such an empty tunnel.

Lighting

The lighting was a mood lighting that the underground provides for stress relief. I think this is the only tunnel that lights up like this on the London underground.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D820 with a wide angle 16-35 f4 lens

Inspiration

It was definitely the mood lighting that attracted me to the spot.

Editing

I used light room for basic adjustments and photoshop for sharpening.

In my camera bag

I'm always looking to be prepared so I have a wide angle and a nifty fifty at all times. Sometimes I'll bring along my 70-200

Feedback

With London there are always new things to find and new angles to shoot from. Just walk around and enjoy it
