I am from Wichita, Kansas where this photo was taken in a studio that is owned by my friend.Time
This was a planned time. Had to wait for the dad to be to get off work so him and his lady could meet me at the studio, I believe it was early evening about 18:00. I use Einstein lights which are amaismh because it can be a complexity lit up room and make it look darlk.Lighting
I highly recommend using Einstein studio lights. They can be used outdoor or indoor with power source. They are 600w and able to over power the sun which can make for amazing photos!!Equipment
This particular photo was shot with a canon rebel t5i but normally shoot a canon 7D. I use Einstein studio lights and i also use yongnuo speed lights. I do not believe in tripods for portrait use. But love tripods for landscapes long exposures etc.Inspiration
This was a beautiful couple with not a lot of money and I believe they should of had a great photo down to basics.Editing
I cropped the photo. That was the end of my post process. I am Big on keeping post simple. In my camera bag
My bag contains canon 7D couple speed lights a tripod a trigger 50mm and 24-70mm and batteries always batteries.Feedback
Get a couple or someone that is comfortable in their body. Don’t stare be natural be professional. When you’re professional it’s more comfortable for the subject. Get your lighting right and camera settings and take the shot!! Try not to make it to posed and engage in conversation.
