Location
At my home studio, in copenhagenTime
Well since its a studio shot the question is not really relevant, and I dont remember.Lighting
Its the first time where I tried to put a beautydish off to the side in a 90 degrees angle, and make sure that the light doesn't hit the background. The light on her skin was what made the image for me, and of course her amazing expression.Equipment
One flash with a 56cm Dish, a Canon 6D and probably my 24-70 lensInspiration
We were looking at some images with smoking women, and also some 1920-30s type of elegance.Editing
Obviously the usual skin retouch and some color management. Most of the look is made by adding a bluish tint to the background which originally was white, but underlit. And a yellow tint to the skin.In my camera bag
For location shoots I have my Profoto B1 and a couple of B2s as backup, or second light. One light-through umbrella, and some softboxes. As for camera, my 6D and mostly just the 50mm 1.4 Sigma Art. with a pol-filter on it.Feedback
Pretty harsh light, avoid hitting the backdrop (or use black / dark grey), relatively cold balance of light then add skin and background tone to the finish.
