Western Ghats of India is a home for many migratory birds, because of its thick dense vegetation it becomes difficult to spot a bird and shoot with a perfect background which can blend well. This bird was an early morning visitor who came and had a nice bath in the nearby pond. Every bird gives a unique call before the arrival, and this bird was singling like a rock star and also dancing to its own tune before it took a pleasurable dip in the water. It appeared many times on this branch, sometimes by whistling, calling, or singling. I waited for the bird's throat to get puffed up for the shot so that I can tell the story behind this image.
