Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in my front yard. There’s only one tree that will drop pretty yellow leaves in the fall.
Time
This one was taken in the evening “golden hour”.
Lighting
All natural light! The golden hour combined with the pretty yellow leaves just made it absolutely perfect.
Equipment
This was taken with my supe old Canon Rebel XS and my 50mm lens.
Inspiration
My friends and I were outside enjoying the cool weather. One of them brought his new puppy, Deuce- formerly ‘Sue’. He looks absolutely adorable in the leaves and I couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures.
Editing
The original is in color with very little cropping and post processing and can be viewed on my ViewBug profile. I decided to put it in black & white for an additional contest. It turned out great in B&W though!
In my camera bag
Well right now I’m in between cameras and having to rent equipment. But normally I carry my nifty 50, a good flash, extra batteries, an extra SD, and of course the camera itself.
