Location
This photo was taken near Wisconsin Dells. I`m a real estate, wildlife, nature, and landscape photographer so this shot was the type I strive for and the fox sure didn`t disappoint in that matter. My friend Michelle and I were out on a little road trip trying to find things or new places to photograph when this fox appeared along the roadside. She drove as we followed it and I was practically hanging out the window trying to get as many shots as possible. It would stop at times then take off not on a dead run but trotting along and at this point it saw something that was possibly lunch and it pounced in the air after it. Thankfully I had the camera on it and snapped in time. Sometimes opportunities come quick and thats why its important to have your camera ready. Thank you to everyone for the award and its greatly appreciated!Time
This was taken late afternoon in May so the sun was high and bright.Lighting
The lighting was excellent because it was a nice bright day and that helped tremendously with camera settings.Equipment
I used a Canon 7D MkII with a Canon 100-400mm lens.Inspiration
My love of nature and wildlife it what inspired or inspires me. I`m always trying to explore new areas and find wildlife that I can get photographs of. I try to capture all that I can and every opportunity that I get.Editing
I shoot in RAW so there was some post-processing. Nothing major though. Mainly color, contrast, and clarity. In my camera bag
The equipment I use is the Canon 7D MkII with the 100-400mm, 24-105mm, 50mm, and 10-18mm lenses. I always use a canon speed light, As for tripods I use a Benro base and head plus Manfrotto tripods as well. Also I use a MOVO gimbal head.Feedback
My advice would to have always have your camera with you when possible and keep doing what you love. You only get one go around so get out and enjoy whatever it is you love to do.
