This photo was taken on a glacier in Alaska. It was one of three glaciers on which we landed as part of a helicopter trip.Time
It was in the afternoon and the photo captured one of my most exhilarating experiences in my life.Lighting
The light was eerie and there was fog. The contrast of the blues and whites was stark.Equipment
I used my old Nikon D40x. Since then I have switched to Canon but admit the trustworthy Nikon took a great capture.Inspiration
I just loved the perspective and the composition in this case swerving lines rather than straight leading lines leading up the glacier. It was like my landing on the moon experience.Editing
