Seventy-year-old Bruce Gold is known as a living legend, one of South Africa's last true hippies, one of the few sexagenarians braving the waves to surf the coast. In his twenties, Gold gave up his job as a police officer to live the surfer's dream, and has sustained himself with odd jobs ever since. Gold attributes his longevity to careful habits and a healthy diet. And encourages everyone to “share the wave.”
