I took this picture while hanging awkwardly off of the passenger side door of a Tahoe. My boyfriend sat in the driver's seat, flashing me an amused smile before returning to scroll on his phone, almost unphased by the curious spectacle I was starring in. We were waiting for a friend to be done at the DMV and I was outside poking around with my camera when I found this sort of surreal composition playing with the reflections of a particular stunning sunset. The way it sort of layered these mirrored scenes of one of nature's finest performances against a car, such a man-made mechanical canvas just really struck me. So, I share it with you, in my first contest ever. Beauty is not as rare as they'd like us to think.
