This year at the Prosser Balloon festival in Prosser, Washington, I got a chance to photograph the launch for the first time. Talk about sensory overload. I didn't know which way to turn and shoot. I got the chance to get right behind this pilot, as he was filling the balloon. It was early morning and a bit cool, so not only did I get this shot, but I got a place to stay warm for a bit, until the sun finally came up.
