Behind The Lens

Location

I've made this photo a few km's from my home.

Time

Morning hours are the best for landscapes.

Lighting

The light was very soft because of the snowfall and a bit mist.

Equipment

Canon 1Dx with 24-70mm F2.8 on a tripod with remote trigger

Inspiration

During a beautiful autumn walk I had already taken a photo of this beautiful beech avenue, more or less from the same position. When I got up that morning and saw that it started to snow lightly, I quickly drove to the same place to take this photo.

Editing

Some basic post processing in Lightroom

In my camera bag

Usually I'm out in nature with a 200-600mm for birding, but sometimes landscapes just grab my attention.

Feedback

Just go out and shoot
