Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was take on the gulf side of Florida. I had walked along the length of the pier and then went down to the beach to look for sea glass. I looked up and knew it was a shot I needed to capture

Time

This shit was taken midday on a partly cloudy but mostly sunny day. The sun light was shining off the water giving it the soft blue color without a glare.

Lighting

I wanted natural sun light but without glare. I got lucky with the lighting conditions that day!

Equipment

This was simply taken with my iPhone! I was not planning to shoot anything that day so it was all I had with me.

Inspiration

I am always looking for unique shots. I tend to see things differently and that comes out in my photography. I was walking along collecting shells and sea glass and looked up and knew I had amazing composition and had to capture it.

Editing

I did very minimal post-processing. I typically use Lightroom to increase the saturation and adjust some lens angles so that it is as close to what the eye actually sees without being overly edited.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my canon body along with its basic lens. I also have a telephoto lens and a macro lens. I like to keep it to a minimum!

Feedback

Always be looking for that next shot!
