This image was taken on the outskirts of the town I live.Time
Late afternoon I saw heavy clouds approaching from the West and from previous visit the area I knew of a couple of dumped vehicles in the area that would make for interesting subject matter.Lighting
Because of the cloud cover I knew that this would work like a giant softbox and prevent any blown out skies from direct sunlight; and the regular bolt of lightning would add further to the darkened atmosphere of the background.Equipment
The only equipment that I had with me was my Canon 7Dii; unfortunately no flash or tripod. A little unfortunate but had to make do.Inspiration

Make sure of your safety. Do as I recommend and not what I do. Keep a bag with off camera flash and a tripod with you; in addition to your camera and choice lenses.
