Behind The Lens

Location
This photo is one of the Juvenine Cheetas in Rietvlei Reserve Pretoria South Africa. The mother had Three tlast Year, They are still running with her.
Time
This photo was taken mid morning. I followed them for an hour then they went into the thick bush
Lighting
Lighting was not very good as it was overcast and cold that allows you to take photos from any angle
Equipment
Canon 7D mk2 with a Canon 300 f2.8 lens in this case I used a 1.4 converter No Flash, and taken from a beanbag
Inspiration
When Cheeta are available and close you can take many photos and the delete the bad ones
Editing
As the shot was close I had to crop out thr bottom section as the full cheeta did not fit in the frame

Canon Cameras 1d mk4, 7D mk2 and 7d mk1 Lenses 500 f4, 300 f2.8 and 70/200 f2.8 Two converters 1.4 and 2
Feedback
Always check the background the cleaner the better. I love taking photos with a low f/stop 2.8 and 4.0. This gives you a Nice Depth of field with a clean background.Focus on the head or Eyes to make sure they are shap.
