This is General George Patton Museum in Chiriaco Summit. It's in California off Hwy 10 heading east into Arizona. The General chose this are of desert because it most resemble the area in North Africa. By training there the soldiers became successful in tactical exercises and maneuvers, which allowed them to overtake the German army in NA.
