Project 52, 11-19-17---still playing catch up :)
We knew going in that it was a bit too dark to do this right, so I bracketed this image (-1, +1, +3), duplicated the long exposure one (+3), and screen blended the images (not merged, like you would do with HDR), masking out the people in the long exposures (had to do that because my son was also twirling the leash). :)
