My daughter moved to NYC, from a little midwest town. She struggled financially, physically and emotionally at times. She volunteered as a helper in the NYC marathon with the hopes of running in 2018. She won a lottery pick for 2017. She formed up with some local teams and began the training. Nearly 9 months later she completed her first marathon and the NYC marathon at that. My wife and I flew to see her compete and purchased grandstand finish line tickets. I, armed with my 200mm captured this as she neared the finish line. Congrats my daughter... congrats!
