No Anne... They cleared all the nasty algae from the lake and all the birds return... although I think they have brought their little bastards as well, which means they have been busy multiplying in other people's gardens. The lake can hardly fit them now and dog owners have to keep the pooches on a leash because they jump in to chase the swans.
