Solheimasandur is a vast area of sand and gravel along the south coast of Iceland. I walked there with a friend (and it wasn't easy on ice!) during an afternoon in February 2016. The photo is not heavily post-edited, the colours are the ones of the sunset, early winter's sunset of course.
