I was trying to convey a sense of movement of the red leaves of this gorgeous tree in the Chinese garden section of the Huntington Gardens in San Marino California. I used a technique of cloning with different opacity levels to try to convey some movement. I then added a texture that sweeps across the image in a roughly downward diagonal direction to convey more movement.
