3254B - Bowmin, derived from "Bony mini" as he was a skeletal kitten with big ears. He grew into his bones. An outdoor feline who later adapted to the move from Camp David to Miami, he got himself lost in Miami for 4 months! I never gave up looking for him and the darned rascal was living 1000-feet away under an old car in a quiet area where businesses put cat food bowls out for strays. He lost about a pound and because he got rodent fever from sharing food bowls he had to have 11 teeth extracted. Now he's 13 years old and cannot go outside in Miami! He does get to stay on the family farm upstate where he can wander safely.
