Milky way rising over the Maroon bells and reflecting in the lake. I waited for the whole year for this one weekend in September to have fall foliage and milky way in one frame. After reaching here, I had to wait for another couple of hours in freezing weather for the moon to set and the milky way to align with the Maroon bells. The Green color in the sky is due to Air glow. It was so quite and calm that you could see the reflection of the milky way in the lake clearly even with the naked eye.

Just wow! Love all of it. I feel your pain about freezing weather. My star trails was done at -7 degrees C. 3.5 hours of it.
