A long period of time this was a munition depot for not only the german armee but also for the NATO. When the militairy left they had to decide what to do. Because of the enormous amount of deer in the area they decided to give the space to the animals. Several years later the former depot opened as a nature parc. You can enter it from different places. This is the main entrance in Bruggen.
