Location
This photograph is of the Crisp Point Lighthouse which was one of five U.S. Life-Saving Service Stations along the coast of Lake Superior between Munising and Whitefish Point in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. To get there you gave to drive 14 miles into the wilderness on a 2 track dirt road with a lot of mud puddles.Time

It was a beautiful bright autumn dayEquipment
Taken with my Nikon D500 hand held with a Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 Art Lens.Inspiration
I love where I live in Northern Michigan at the tip of the mitt. It's a wonderful place to photograph and one of my favorite subjects to photograph are lighthouses which there are many on the Great Lakes.Editing
For this photo I used Adobe Lightroom with a black and white preset. In my camera bag
I have a Nikon D500 as well as a D810. Depending on what I want to use for the day is what lenses I take. On this outing I had a Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 Art Lens, a Sigma 50-100mm F1.8 Art Lens, a Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX-II 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens, a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 20mm f/1.8G ED Lens and a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens. I strive to have all I need when out shooting landscapes and wildlife.Feedback
