Langza (Spiti District, himachal Pradesh, India) :
A Quaint Village at a height of more than 14500 Feet above sea level, nestled in the Himalayas. A village where people have been living since a millennium without electricity , transport and basic amenities.
They would work hard through the summer months, storing food and grazing their livestock and lock themselves up in the winters, when the temperature goes down to -20 Degrees Celsius.
Where we saw the Yaks and Sheep grazing during the months of October,,, they probably see Snow Leopards in the winter months.
It makes me wonder, how did they survive this weather when there was no electricity and roads way back then!!
Incredible India!!
