Behind The Lens

Location

Taken at my local town park. About a week after the council planted the new flowers for summer. I was just out for walk long the Promenade and through the park, wasn't planning on taking any pictures that day but the bees were out and I couldn't let them past.

Time

Early afternoon

Lighting

Nothing really to say about the lighting, it was outside on a summers day.

Equipment

The only light a had on me was my mobile phone, samsung galaxy s8, that's it.

Inspiration

I see macro shots of insects all the time, but my favourite macro shots are of bees and wasps, so I've always wanted to take me own, but on this I was planning to take any pictures I was just out for walk, but when I seen all the bees I couldn't resist.

Editing

I just sharpened the picture up a bit so you can really see the details.

In my camera bag

My nikon d3400 with 18-55mm and my 70-300mm, if I don't have my cam on me then it's just my phone samsung galaxy s8.

Feedback

Patience and take your time. Don't move too much or you'll disturb the bees/insects and burst shot is friend especially for insect/animal pictures.
