This is a shot taken at White Rock, Killiney Beach, County Dublin, Ireland. I particularly like the way the retreating tide in this photo is exposing the shoreline rocks in the fore-ground and yet not detracting from the recognisable background vista of Bray Head and the Little Sugar Loaf and Big Sugar Loaf to the south of Killiney Bay. This shot was taken just as the sun was finally setting in the west which is reflected in the subtle glow in the retreating cloud formation over Bray town and the Sugar Loaf to the south which appear to be competing with the darker cloud formations moving in from the north.
