Behind The Lens

Location

In the summer forest. The weather was hot and we decided to shoot in the shade under the trees.

Time

It was about two o'clock in the afternoon

Lighting

There was a bright light! I don't like bright lights. I prefer soft, diffuse. But after hiding under the trees and taking a few shots, it became clear that you can't do without pulsed light. I put the fill flash with an umbrella on the lumen about 45 degrees to the right of the model. The second contour flash was installed on the back left, without the modifier. You can see the outline light on the left hand of our heroine. The contour light helped to separate the model from the background, as well as slightly illuminated the axe.

Equipment

When getting this shot, I used a Nikon D750 camera with a Nikon 70-200 lens. There are also two pulse sources(regular camera flashes on tripods)

Inspiration

We learned about the Indians through American cinema. As a child, they were always associated with nature. I admired their ability to blend in, ambush, and be one with the world around them. Therefore, it was only a matter of time for me to implement this photo project. I want to take this moment to thank the ViewBug team for giving us the opportunity to share these works with the world. It's really beautiful!

Editing

Yes! Summed up all the shades under the brown colors. To make the frame of the movies.

In my camera bag

During my 11 years of passion for photography, my bag has been a lot of things) But in recent years, I keep in it a Nikon D750 camera and two high-speed lenses(Nikon 24-70 and Nikon 70-200). Of the additional light, I only use the constant light from YongNuo YN-360. I call it the Jedi sword, because it practically repeats its shape and shines with all shades of colors. Very convenient device. That's all I need at the moment)

Feedback

Don't be afraid to experiment. Don't be afraid to repeat it. Be afraid to do nothing. Where there is movement, there is development, self-expression and communication with this beautiful world!
