This photo was taken in my home town kohima, Nagaland, where we have to hike for four hours by foot and this is the beauty as prize.Time
this is one of my favourite shot of landscape, i took this around 4-30 P.M in the late evening it was cloudy above the valley. I waited for the fog to be cleared and took the shot which was worth the wait.Lighting
I wanted to capture the view clearly with the hills and wanted to capture its natural beauty as it was, so waited for a while to clear the clouds so that more lights fall on the valley.Equipment
this was shot with 60d canon with the lens of 50mm, with no flash light and was hand held.Inspiration
I have been looking forward to visit this valley for a long time and the first thing my eye catch the view, my second eye starts to roll automatically. i still remember how i feel as soon my eye caught this view, no picture could replace the feeling but looking at this natural fresh looking picture it still takes me back to that same feeling.Editing
I didnt have to to do much post processing as it was exactly what my naked eyes could see but of course i did do a little color correction to make it look more fresh.In my camera bag
I usually end up with my canon 5d mark iii with 50 mm as this lens give me the option of close up and well as wide shots.Feedback
To capture a similar landscape we need to have patience and wait for the right light and frame it exactly what makes you feel happy when you look through the view finder and stay calm. we should not get distracted by anything around us but focus on the view and enjoy clicking.
