Location
This was taken on my front lawn during autumn. I was watching this little ladybug in the bushes and as it got to the edge of the leaf I was able to capture this image just before it flew away.Time
This was taken just after noon so that it would provide enough light for this fast moving little subject.Lighting
I used available light and my ISO was set to 100 so that I could have a creamy background.Equipment
I shot this with my D800 and 105mm f/2.8 lens, handheld because my shutter speed was 1/400s.Inspiration
Because I love the colours of autumn I was taking pictures of the berries on the bushes when I spotted this little one.Editing
I did remove a couple of branches that were distracting in photoshop and very minimal adjustments. In my camera bag
Since I was in my front yard I have all my equipment at my finger tips if I was in need of it. It was just me, my camera, lens and natures beauty.Feedback
When shooting macro subjects its best to have a fast shutter as sometimes a little bit of movement can create a blurred image. I always shoot in manual mode so that I have control over all the settings.
