This shot was pure luck. While driving back to town after a full day of exploring Jasper Natl Park, I spotted a large bird perched on top of a tree...it was far off and I wasn't even sure of what I saw. Turned the car around and pulled out the longest lense I had. I was stoked to see this gorgeous bald eagle just chill'in high up in the sky. Took a few shots, then just admired him for awhile. After about 20min, he took flight and I caught this image. So lucky to be able to view such a scene in the wild.
