Behind The Lens

Location

Beach under the Redlowo Cliffs in Gdynia.

Time

It was a sunset time, close to blue hour. I took several shots of boulders and this one, taken later, was perfect for B&W conversion.

Lighting

The light was already weak and the sky colours bleached. I took the shot with B&W conversion in mind and it seemed to have worked well.

Equipment

NIKON D750 with NIKKOR 14-24 mm F/2.8 lens. This combo secures very sharp and bright images even in darker conditions - perfect for this shot.

Inspiration

Redlowo Cliffs are one of our coast landmarks. We went for a walk with my family and I just took the camera along, just in case of a spectacular sunset.

Editing

Post processing were just minor corrections, mainly cranking up the contrast and adding a bit of a vignette.
