Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at the tree nursery Lohrberg, on a hill in the green boundary of Frankfurt am Main.
Time
I was walking between trees and plants with my wife and daughter in the late summer at the afternoon, 18:00. My daughter drove my attention to these fantastic sunflowers “burning” in the light of the declining sun and I could capture it in a picture that remembers me the flares of the burning sun itself.
Lighting
The sunlight was all it took.
Equipment
It was taken with the Canon EOS 80D, equipped with the EF 24-105 mm f/4 IS II USM objective.
Inspiration
The parallelism of the sunflowers with the splendid sun itself is a great inspiration.
Editing
I did some soft adjustments in Camera Raw and minimal retouches in Photoshop.
In my camera bag
Aside of the mentioned above I sometimes carry the EF 100-400 mm lens for shooting wildlife photos.
Feedback
Never leave your camera home alone.
