Location
I took this photo in Historic Williamsburg at the kitchen in Rockefeller's House.Time
The photo was taken in the middle of the day in 100 degree F temps.Lighting
The lighting was all natural coming from the window.Equipment
I used a Nikon D3100 and kit lens with a cpl filter.Inspiration
I saw the lighting and the setup and immediately thought it would be a great black and white image from an earlier time. It reminded me of helping my mother with the garden vegetables many years ago. There is a timelessness about it also.Editing
I converted the image to Black and White using Silver Effects Pro Nik plug-in. I also made some slight adjustments in the tone.In my camera bag
D3100 camera body, kit lenses and cpl filter.Feedback
Look for scenes that speak to you. The lighting was crucial to this shot.
