This Pygmy owl sat in my neighbour's tree for so long, they had time to call me, for me to get my camera & lens set up, and for me to cross the road. Not seen in this photo is a hummingbird that was buzzing him a lot, but this fellow sat tight for about 45 min.

Excellent capture!! Congratulations on getting set up for the shot in time to get it. Normally for me the bird flies away in that half second before I get the button pushed.
