Behind The Lens

Location
We have the most wonderful secluded stretch of coastline at the west coast of South Africa. It is still nature at its best. We like to camp in nature with very few people around. I can sit for hours, looking at the sea and taking pictures. This was one of those moments
Time
Mid morning
Lighting
I only have Canon Powershot SX50 HS and I experiment with the different settings, this was taken with settings on SCN.
Equipment
Canon Powershot SX50 HS, no tripod, just the camera on my knee
Inspiration
The beautiful scene of tranquility and peace with the sound of the ocean
Editing
No, all I do after taking a photograph is download onto my laptop, check the clarity of a shot and maybe crop slightly if necessary
In my camera bag
Camera. 9 out of 10 times I don't even have my tripod with me. I take pictures of things and places that speaks to me. I very seldom drive with the exclusive aim of taking pictures. I paint so my eye has to be able to look at things a certain way
Feedback
Patience, patience, patience. You have to take a lot of pictures to be able to find the right shot.
