After seeing this polar bear at the Bronx Zoo a few years back, it deeply saddened me to see this poor creature suffering in the summer heat, alone, and with no ice or snow what so ever. Since then, I have not visited another zoo. I came to realize that I would only be paying to continue their lives of suffering and being used for our entertainment. I love animal photography, but I'd rather photograph them in their nature habits, even if I have to travel far to do so.
