I took this photo while we were waiting to be matched with our youngest daughter through adoption. My emotions this day were like the waves and gloomy weather. I felt the chains weighing me down and I could hardly breathe I was so sad and tired of waiting. I tried to focus on the cross of the weather vane and asked for Him to give us direction. I prayed He would take my desire away if bringing a second child into our family wasn't an option. One year later, exactly to the date I captured this image she was born. That is why this is one of my favorite photos.

I couldn't believe how lucky I was to capture both of these eagles together. It was one of my highlights.

While watching this guy zip around the back yard he decided to sit for a spell and check me out too.

The cliff divers of Black Rock are pretty spectacular.
