We shot this photo on a march evening.Lighting
The background is a golden reflector. The main light was in a softbox (or was it an umbrella...?), two flashes were used to light her outline.Equipment
Apart from the golden background, paintbrush and bodypaint, I used a Nikon D800 with a 85mm lens. I believe that the flashes were Yongnuo 560 III.Inspiration
I love the effect of bodypaint, even in its simplest form; it covers some facial features and makes it difficult to recognise a person. It often creates dreamy and out of this world results. The gold itself is a beautiful colour in my eyesEditing

I don't think gear is so relevant. Having said that, I love the camera I used in this shot, a Nikon D800.Feedback
Bodypaint can be messy business... It needs to be applied in several layers with drying in between. Be patient with your model, have fun!
