This photo was taken in my back yard... I often use Sage to check out focus and lighting at different times of day. She is an EXCELLENT model, although she gets tired of the camera. Nothing like the dog running to hide when she sees it come out!Time
This is one of my favorite photos of Sage. It was taken mid-morning-I had been using her all morning as a "model" for some props I was using the next day in my backyard for a shoot with a small child. By the time this one was taken, she was tired and just laying in the yard relaxing. This is her look that says mommy aren't we done???Lighting
This was all natural light.Equipment
This was shot with a Sony A37 with my trusty 18-55Inspiration
She is just so dang cute and the looks she gives me sometimes just make me chuckle. I honestly do not think she knows she is a dog! I figured she "models" a lot for me, that she deserved a picture show casing her beauty!Editing
Very light color editing. In my camera bag
In my bag, I have everything! My camera, lenses, SD Cards, Batteries.Feedback
Have fun doing it! When taking pictures of animals, know that you never know what they may do, be ready to move and just shoot shoot shoot... Often the best pictures of them are not the planned and set up ones, just the quick snap shot.
