Location
I took this image in Mosselbaai, South Africa. Every new shot is a lesson for me.Time
During the time I spent in South Africa, a lot of the days blended together as the other interns and I would get up early, gear up and go to the shop. We'd then take the guests to the boat to go cage diving off of Seal Island. I, being the photographer of the interns, was assigned to capture photo identification of the sharks that visited us throughout the day. This image was taken early to mid afternoon in mid July.Lighting
I just used natural lighting in the image. Post edit, I brightened it up with Lightroom because the original image was a bit dark.Equipment
Canon Rebel EOS XS with a 75-300mm telephoto lens.Inspiration
I was trying to capture any shark images while on the boat for identification purposes. Some, like this one, turned out to be mid-breach and I was impressed with how they came out.Editing
Yes, I edited it with Lightroom and there were no presets. Just manual editing. In my camera bag
Lenses, the camera bodies, filters, batteries.Feedback
