The hand-like foot of an orangutan hangs down from the trees in the jungles of Borneo. Orangutans are the largest arboreal animals and are highly adapted for their life in the trees- which is part of why the ongoing loss of their jungle habitat, much of it clear cut for oil palm plantations, spells doom for their survival.
