I saw this spot driving up to a wedding I was shooting and I thought what a wonderful spot it would be for a star photo. Of course it was cloudy when I drove up and thought well maybe another time. But weather decided to be nice and the clouds parted and I knew I was going to be in for quite a treat that night. I had to wait an hour before the moon went behind the mountains, but this is what I winded up getting from the wait.
