Behind The Lens

Location

I took the picture in "Las Tuerces", in Palentina Mountain, Palencia, Spain. It is a landscape that emerged from the sea.

Time

Exactly at 1: 30h I examined this possible composition with the app "Photopills", and I guessed right.

Lighting

The photo I lit it weakly from 150m. That is, the lighting of the rock is not of the explorer.

Canon 5D Mark II Lens 16-35mm f.4 16mm f/ 4.0 30" ISO: 2000

Inspiration

I wanted to get what you see ... a milky way between some rocky form of Las Tuerces.

Editing

The photo is made with my old Canon 5D Mark II that generates a lot of noise, also the place has a lot of light pollution. So to solve this problem, I separated the stars in a layer in photoshop to clean the noise and reduce pollution. The rest are simple and habitual adjustments.

The Photopills App is undoubtedly the best to plan memorable photos. With this App, you can plan sunrises, sunsets and in the nocturnal photographs the Milky Way can be the main protagonist. It is in my daytime explorations when I imagine with Photopills and investigate these photos. I also advise the inclusion of people in the landscapes.
