My friends and I made an early morning hike to the lighthouse in Kallur, Kalsoy. Kalsoy is an island located between Eysturoy and Kunoy. The hike to the light house begins at a ferry stop in Klaksvík and continues up north to the small town of Trøllanes. This journey includes a drive through four small dark one lane tunnels and bushwhacking (grasswhacking?) for a few hours. What’s the reward for all this work? The beautiful cliff side on the Northern most part of the Island. When everything is said and done, grab yourself a cup of coffee with the freshest milk, at the only kiosk on the island, á Trøllanesi!
