Kawiti Glow worm Caves, South of Kawakawa, Northland. NZ

I was fortunate to be able to spend many hours in this Glow Worm cave system (& other Glow Worm caves ) to be able to get this image just right.
The figure - for those outside of Aotearoa New Zealand - is one of the guardians of the caves, and is in traditional Maori dress, a Korowai.

The image was shot in part of the cave system that is referred to, for obvious reasons, as 'The Milky Way. Being an astrophotographer, this appealed to me!

It was shot vertically up and over comprising six 20mm images.
Slight positional blending to enhance the figure.
