Green Herons have a velvet green back with a chestnut body. They live along the edge of a body of water. They are known to use tools, such as twigs,worms and crust of bread, to lure fish. They are very patient as they wait for fish or amphibians to come close enough to catch and eat. They also eat insects,rodents and crustaceans. Green Heron are amazing to watch.
